What is the Gimme 5
Gimme 5 is an easy to play game. Just choose 5 numbers from 1-39 and tickets are only $1 each. Drawings are held three times a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with prizes up for grabs for matching 2 or more numbers in Gimme 5. The jackpot for Gimme 5 is a fixed $100,000 cash payment in a lump sum. The jackpot is split consistently if there is more than one winner. The odds of winning the Gimme 5 jackpot prize are one in 575,757.
How to play the Gimme 5?
As mentioned, – each play costs only $1 per draw. One play consists of a panel and players can play from one to five panels using a single play slip. Players can also purchase a ticket for up to 30 draws (10 weeks) by selecting a draw number under the “draws” column.
- Use pencil or black pen
- If an error is made on the play slip, DO NOT ERASE. Mark the Void box for that play.
- Select five numbers in a range from 1 to 39
- Easy Pick (EP) can be marked – Mark the “EP” box on the play slip and the Lottery terminal will randomly select numbers on a players behalf.
Picking numbers
On the Gimme 5 play slip mark five (5) numbers from 1 to 39 in a single panel Players may play up to five (5) panels on a single play slip at the cost of $1.00 per play.
Draws are held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at approximately 7:00 PM with a cutoff of 6:45 PM to purchase tickets for that evening’s draw. All draws are based on Eastern Time.
Quick pick
Simply mark the QUICK PICK (QP) box on each play, or ask the clerk for a Quick Pick, and the lottery terminal randomly pick numbers on a players behalf.
Multiple draws
Players can buy a ticket for up to 30 consecutive draws by marking the number of draws under the MULTI DRAW column on the play slip. The maximum value of a single Gimme 5 ticket will not exceed $100.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are unfortunately not available at this time and players can only purchase tickets at lottery retail agents throughout Maine for up to 30 draws.
Ticket Sales and Draw Time
Gimme 5 tickets can be purchased daily and the cut off time for ticket sales in 6:45 PM on the day of the draw. Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6:59 PM. Players can watch the Gimme 5 drawings every Monday, Wednesday and Friday by visiting the Tri-State Lotto Commission official drawing webcast.

The Gimme 5 offers players a fixed jackpot of $100,000 per draw.
How to claim your lotto cash prize
Firstly – sign the back of your Gimme 5 ticket in the space provided as you must present the ticket to claim a prize.
Less than $500: Take the winning ticket to any Vermont Lottery agent where Gimme 5 is sold for validation and payment.
$500 or more: Get a Claim Form from a Vermont Lottery sales agent where Gimme 5 is sold. Follow the instructions and submit the claim. Any prize can be claimed at the Vermont Lottery.
Cash prizes from $500 to $5,000: Can be claimed at any People’s United Bank in Vermont.
IMPORTANT: All prizes must be claimed within one (1) year of the winning draw date on the ticket.
